Winter in the Valley

"It’s usually around this time of year, when the Valley is at its absolute chilliest that I am most grateful to live in a climate that offers the full spectrum of all four seasons.

It may seem strange to welcome frosty mornings that turn into blustery afternoons as the fogs lifts, especially when there are those that would do anything to escape the depths of Winter but for me ‘battening down the hatches’ is a comforting notion, and one that finds me spending increasing amounts of time in the warmth of my kitchen.
