I cannot tell you how excited I am about a very special upcoming event at the Farm Shop, with proceeds going towards bringing a very special guest to Australia.
On Monday 3rd July, I will be hosting an intimate lunch and cooking demonstration for only a very limited number of like-minded people; those, who like me, are equally as obsessed with good food as they are with beautiful music.
And while I’ll be taking care of the food side of things, those lucky enough to secure a seat at the table will have the musical aspect of the event taken care of in the most amazing way. A double serving! As a follow up to the lunch in July, you will receive a special invitation to a superb classical music concert at Wilderness School on Monday 13 November. The highlight of this concert will be the Australian Premiere of the Piano Concerto by renowned American/Russian pianist and composer Alexander Peskanov - an exciting Premiere in the presence of the composer. Two of the young Adelaide pianists performing in this concert have been invited to appear as soloists at New York City’s famed Carnegie Hall in 2018, an amazing accolade afforded to few Australians. This is a musical event not to be missed! And imagine being able to meet the composer after the concert!
The funds raised from the event at the Farm Shop in July will assist in bringing Alexander Peskanov to Australia, where he will not only be Guest of Honour at the Wilderness concert but will also give a masterclass for gifted pianists aged six to eighteen.
Bookings are extremely limited for this very personal and special event, so please don’t delay in securing your ticket. Prices start at $250. To reserve your seat or for further information, contact Ursula Gruszewski, email: gruszu@gmail.com
