Pheasant Farm Home Block Tempranillo 2016
The fruit for this mid weight wine is exclusively sourced from fifteen year old Tempranillo grape vines, grown at Maggie and Colin’s home block vineyard. This Tempranillo starts with a savoury nose with lingering black berry and leathery tones. Then follows through with a rich palate of cacao and fresh coconut. Finishing with a very subtle fruit like zest. This is a wine made to drink immediately, pair with duck pate, roast chook or black pudding on rye bread.
