A little Friday night indulgence; Maggie's Chocolate, Coffee and Biscuit Ice Cream. Pass the spoon please!
My dear friend Peter Wall often used to cook dinner for us, especially on the frequent occasions when I'd been travelling and arrive home jetlagged. I always loved his moussaka - it was lighter than any other I'd ever eaten so I coaxed the recipe from him, which was happily given. Peter's secret was to use a really good chicken stock in the bechamel sauce. I added my favourite bits from my vegetarian moussaka and the result is this recipe.
